For sale - 1980 BMW R100RS

After 16 years of ownership, I find I am no longer using my trusty old bike as much as I used to, nor do I have a suitable place to store it, so with some reluctance I have decided to sell it. It has never once let me down over the years, and the time has come for someone else to enjoy this wonderful old classic bike. The bike is not in concours condition, nor would you expect so at the price I am asking. It is however complete and usable every day. You could continue to ride it just as it is for many years to come, or it would make a superb restoration project for someone to turn back into a real prize winning bike. Such is the build quality of these old BMWs that it could easily be re-built over a winter. The bike is SORN, and is presently in storage at my brother's house in Fife, but would be sold with a new MOT.
